Our hotel is situated in attractive gardens. Close by is the cliff lift giving easy access to the esplanade and beach, the town of Shanklin and the famous Old Village.....all of which are within easy walking distance.

Alongside the hotel we have a spacious private coach and car park - and it's free!

The dining room is spacious, light and airy, and has a good reputation for its food.

The menu is varied and generous and we provide a choice of vegetarian dishes or special diets if requested.

The Medehamstede Hotel has 53 bedrooms, all en-suite.

There and tea and coffee making facilities, colour televisions, radio alarm clocks and hair dryers. Some of our rooms have superb sea views.

The bar area is the heart of the hotel in the evenings, offering regular entertainment, bingo and fun quizzes. Our intentions are honourable - we want you to stay in with us and enjoy yourselves and take advantage of our hospitality.
